Gmail now Added New Dark Mode on Android 10

You do not have to worry about hurting your eyes anymore while using your mail. Google now has a dark mode which is out that is for those with sensitive eyes. Google launched this dark mode right after the launch of Android 10 on Google Pixel Phones.

This dark mode is available on Android 10. And this feature lets users turn their white screens into black and black texts into white. Also this helps with making the display easier on the users’ eyes. It is also good news for battery life, because hello black screen.

On September 3rd, Google launched Android 10, and it was then that it gave a teaser of the dark themed Gmail App. It was the Reddit users who who first witnessed the dark themed Gmail. But they did so in the server-side update.

If you are a user of Google Pixel, and work on Android 10 then you need to do is download the latest version of Gmail. Doing so, lets you use the dark theme mode of  Gmail, without a hitch.

After installing the app, you can move to the general settings then select the “theme” option. Then select the either light or dark option. If you choose dark, the G-mail app will turn grey, even inbox and all other folders with it.

If you are not a user of Google Pixel do not fret, Android 10 will soon make its way towards other Android phones later this year. Just hang in there till you can use the vision friendly G-mail dark theme mode.
