Heather Locklear is letting everybody know that she is”still sober” in the middle of her continuing legal issues.
The”Melrose Place” alum, 57, took to Instagram Tuesday to discuss her very first post because pleading no contest last week to eight misdemeanor charges of battery and resisting officers.
She published an image of an range of things, such as an inspirational laptop cover which reads,”You are still sober. Keep this (expletive) up.” The photograph included a finger painting which says”Mother” and an image of her beloved dog, Mister.
“So thankful,” she tickles the picture, including the prayer palms emoji.
Her article comes less than a week later she had been sentenced to some 30-day therapy program inside her battery situation. If Locklear does not finish the application, a judge said she might need to function a 120-prison sentence.
Locklear was charged with five misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer, two counts of resisting an officer and one count of battery in an emergency medical tech over 2 confrontations in her California home in February and June of 2018.
The February experience reportedly grew from a disturbance between Locklear and her boyfriend, also led in five of those misdemeanor charges. Throughout the incident, police said, Locklear supposedly threatened to take deputies when they returned into her property.
Another 3 crimes, for example, battery on an EMT, were supposedly committed after deputies were known about a disturbance in Locklear’s house in June. As in February, police said she became combative.
Locklear originally pleaded not guilty to the charges prior to pleading no contest Friday.
Throughout the hearing, her lawyer, Bill Haney, stated Locklear was suffering with an illness at the time of these episodes and was moving through a”personal catastrophe.”
