Experts Suggest to Refrain from Giving any Statement After an Accident Happens

Victorville, California – Two vehicle (a truck & car) collision took place in Victorville on Friday. A driver was admitted to the hospital after the crash happened at 9.54 pm along the Interstate 15 Freeway at the Palmdale Road off-ramp. It was a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a white 2019 Nissan Rogue. They collided on the southbound side of the Freeway. The investigations are still underway.

The Ford got minor damages but the Nissan got overturned thereby injuring the driver who was attended by by medical personnel along with Victorville Fire Department officials and then was quickly rushed to an out-of-area trauma center by air ambulance for further treatment. The victim still remains unidentified.

The California Highway Patrol has arrested a man who had pulled over to speak with the detectives. Why the officials did this is unknown. After an accident the responsible party needs to compensate the victims for medical expenses, lost earnings, and future loss of earnings or medical care. In some cases as reported in traffic accident news, victim needs to be paid non-economic damages for emotional trauma, pain, and suffering.

The Managing Attorney at Pacific Attorney Group, Mark Shayani has said that it is not so straight forward to determine where the liabilities lie as many factors are involved in the case. Plus people are looking to avoid responsibility even when they are at fault. The insurance companies are also found at fault who cover the car. They try and reduce the amount of compensation to the lowest levels as possible.

When the driver of the insurance company approaches one shouldn’t give out any statements and refrain from admitting the fault. This can be later used against the party when the liability of the collision is determined.
