Norway mosque attack suspect inspired by El Paso shooting: report

As stated by sources, the recent gunman attack on the Norway mosque during the weekend had actually drawn inspiration from the Christchurch shooting which occurred in New Zealand. The former shooting was also inspired from the 2 mass shootings which occurred in the United States.

The 21-year-old Philip Manshaus had reportedly stormed into the mosque located in Baerum on Saturday, which is a town located near Oslo. He was later restrained by the worshippers. It was noted that no one got killed in the incident.

Police are currently investigating this shooting which could also be a terror attack. In his post during the day on which the shooting occurred, Manshaus had described himself in the form of a chosen “Saint Tarrant”. This Saint Tarrant is the very same gunman who is responsible for killing 51 people visiting the New Zealand mosques earlier during the year.

Tarrant has been described as someone who addresses the Muslim community as a problem. His follower, Patrick Crusius has also been charged to have started the shooting which occurred in El Paso last week. This incident left around 22 people dead while he mentioned that he has been fighting in order to reclaim the country from the hands of the Muslim community.
